"It’s not apparent from the pictures but this is a truck stop property including being a parking area for trucks. Overall it was mostly clean with some weird dark fingerprints around the shower. Age is showing in the shower areas with cracks and a disconnected tub plug. The pillows… it was like someone stuffed pieces of foam in a pillowcase. Our kid used to do gymnastics and it was like they took pieces of the foam pit and shoved it in a piece of fabric and called it good. We travel to various hotels 6-10 times a year, and I have never experienced anything like it. I would have taken pictures but it wouldn’t have captured it.
Interacted with staff once for about 30 seconds. Points for having women’s soccer on in the lobby (we were here for another sport but appreciated it). View of the water tower and the red carpet motel were unique."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bel Air/I-95 Exit 77A
8/10 Good
"My Family and I enjoyed our stay here as well as the variety of breakfast options. Fell short of giving it an excellent review because we were initially given a room that seem to have mould on the bathroom ceiling, however, our room was changed once we complained and the new room was very clean. Will definitely recommend a stay here."
Baymont by Wyndham Newark at University of Delaware
6/10 Okay
"I stay at Baymont frequently. This is always my go to hotel when in Newark due to affordable pricing and convenience. I have never had an issues at this location that was not able to be resolved. The only problem I had at this recent visit was the bed was very firm. I do not recall ever having a bed here that was so firm, I could not get comfortable. I should have said something that night, however I didn't have the energy to move all my stuff. When I checked out, I did ask do different rooms have different beds. The manager claims all the beds are the same however it is possible that some are more firm than others. She offered to ensure I was not put in that room again. Aside from the very firm bed, the rooms are spacious and clean and the shower had EXCELLENT water pressure. Breakfast also was very good . "
"Parking lot was no problem, breakfast menu was so so, kids were running up a down the halls, banging my door several times, yelling, sleep was non exsitent "
