"Location, location, location! Cute little hotel right in the middle of Lisbon and close to everything. Our room was small but adequate and extremely clean and well equipped. My only criticism if any of the hotel was that it didn’t have a little bar area where you can have a drink before dinner. There is a fabulous restaurant right next-door and also just around the corner lots of restaurants to choose from."

"Look no further. This hotel hits the mark in all areas. Wonderful breakfast buffet included with your stay. Room was perfect with a fabulous view of the town and castle on the hill. The highlight however was the staff. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The main receptionist Ruth went above and beyond for us in dealing with lost luggage an illness and securing restaurant reservations as well as a driver. Book it now before it’s too late. "

"Room was extremely clean and the cleaning staff is very attentive. The highlight of the hotel experience was that the hotel staff is extremely knowledgeable on some of the best eats and fado locations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"Great location; renovated historic building. The room was spacious and spotless. We enjoyed the free Porto wine and afternoon high tea with the delicious “pastel de mata.” The breakfast had a variety of fruit, pastries and hot items besides juices annd espresso and cappuccino. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Check in for the apartment was at The Lisbon Wine Hotel next door. We were able to leave our luggage until we could gain access as we had arrived early. Staff at the hotel (both reception and bar staff) were really friendly and helpful and we were even offered a complimentary check-in wine/beer which was a lovely touch. Great apartment and super location right in the heart of the city. Although we were initially concerned about noise, we needn't have worried as both windows had great wooden...

"We loved our stay here! The studio was the perfect space for our two week stay in Lisbon. Very comfortable beds and nice size kitchen although we didn't cook much. It was great for breakfast and coffee. There are markets close by. Having a clothes washer and drying rack were a plus. There is a dryer available in the building too. We've been to Lisbon several times and found this location to be perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay at Torel Palace. The staff was very accommodating with our two Viszla dogs. It cost a bit extra (60 euros) for their stay but well worth it. The room and dog beds and bowls ready for them when we arrived. The restaurant staff was also tremendously hospitable. We had a number of meals there simply because it was so comfortable. The chef's sauce on the beef was to die for. Evidently it takes him two weeks to make it -- but well worth it. From the bellhop to the maid...

"The staff were so friendly, gave us suggestions on things to do, places to see as the weather wasn’t the best. The room was always spotless, very traditional but with a modern twist. We loved the breakfast, there was plenty to choose from and they even cooked fresh omelettes upon request! Overall the hotel was small but charming, perfectly located to get around the city. Would definitely stay here in the future!"
