"The apartment is in what looks like an upcoming area with some construction cranes near by. We were there Fri and Sat night so we did not experience any noise from this. The apartment was nice, clean and large for our family of 4 (our teens are young adults). Communication was great, received the email with entrance codes before arrival. "

"Great location other than parking. You will have to walk pretty far with your luggage. After that the location is perfect for walking to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was pretty large by Iceland standards. I would stay there again."

"Wonderful experience! This is my second time staying at one of Alfred's properties. The units are well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Communication with owner/manager is excellent and very responsive. The location could not be better. Close to fancy restaurants as well as casual places. Reykjavik's best coffee and bakeries are within two blocks. Shopping at Bonus and Kronan are also super convenient. The only area for improvement is that black out curtains/shades could be more effective. "

"Ver clean and modern apartments. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen was adequate. Great downtown location. Walkable to most attractions. Would definitely stay again. Had to walk up steep steps with luggage. A bit noisy at night, due to being on a main street. A little hard to locate- signage could be better. "

Nice neighbourhood- we slept very well, not too noisy but easy access to city centre by foot or scooter. Very comfortable beds and apt has great layout. You could fit a family in nicely. Would stay there again. Full kitchen to prepare meals and snacks"
