"We were in Rotterdam for the NorthSeaJazz festival weekend and had a really pleasant day at the Art Hotel. It is very convenient to the subway stop and there are restaurants within walking distance. It is just one stop from the Ahoy theater where the jazz festival took place. "The property is in a perfect location and it’s a nice hotel, modern and well kept. It’s located walking distance to the downtown core, there are many restaurants close by to choose from. My only issue was room design in that there was a huge concrete pillar just inside from the windows in the middle of the room. No pictures of their rooms show this so I would advise that when booking, demand a room without this “feature” when booking."

"Hotel Air-conditioning was broken (entire hotel) and my room had no fan, windows don’t open and temp was over 30 degrees in the room. Hotel did nothing to compensate for this inconvenience I didn't get any sleep because the room was like a sauna."

"I was a a nice and comfortable hotel. I the staff were friendly enough. Perhaps the hotel could be a bit more welcoming with daily fruit or treats as they do in other boutique hotels. My one major issue is with the new additional taxes. My bill was much higher than expected because of this. I know this is not their fault as it has just come in, but they should have forewarned me. I think Expedia should also notify the customers of these tax increases in the Netherlands"

An die Beengtheit eines Hubs gewöhnt man sich schnell, zumal man auch in der geräumigen Hangout-Area wichtige Dinge erledigen oder den Tag Revue passieren lassen kann. Im Hub gibt es WiFi; die Verbindung ist aber nicht besonders schnell....

The second room was just ok. The ac wasn't working well and the room needed updating and deep cleaning. The hotel seems to be in the process of renovation. The staff was friendly and responsive, but the room was just ok. it needs new life, new bedding, new flooring, new wallpaper - just a total...
