"The room was a bit dated and the shower head was awkwardly situated on top of the tap which made me have to bend. However, breakfast was plentiful of local and international choice, and the swimming pool was nice."

"Despite being a hotel that is quite old, we appreciate that the room was renovated to a modern look and we like the beddings and stuff. However the bathroom was a let down because sewage odour kept escaping through the floor traps. To cover the smell, the housekeeping use urinal mat, commonly used in public men's toilet urinals, as deodoriser, making not only the bathroom but the whole room (in fact the whole floor) to smell like public toilet."

"Loved everything about the Cassia, the rooms were spotless and spacious with a lovely living area. The beachfront location was gorgeous, sandy white beach and the beautiful pool looking out to sea. Breakfast options were delicious and plentiful. You can use the facilities at the other hotels within the group and we had dinner at Treetops at the Banyan Tree one evening which added to the experience. "Secluded location, completely private beach with only resort guests, perfect for a long weekend. The towels are not so clean, with dead bugs on them and marks on them. Better to bring your own bath towels. Super hardworking staffs especially those who serve at the restaurant, they work from 7am till 10pm. Big respect! Reception staffs are friendly and helpful too. The only issue is the aircon in the room, it switches off automatically almost every hour, hard to maintain a cool enough room...
