"Great location and beautiful views over the ocean. You can walk right outside and go swimming in the ocean, rent a kayak/paddleboard, or just walk along the coastline. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and full of fresh, locally sourced fruits, veggies, eggs, and meats. Also fresh squeezed juice! The restaurant is very good. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this hotel! "
"Un alojamiento espectacular !Esta en pura naturaleza ,rodeado de vacas ,caballos, solo se escuchan los pájaros . Trato familiar ,muy agradecidos a los dueños y personal. Tomar los desayunos caseros, típicos de la zona preparados con cariño en una terraza con vistas al océano y montañas ,es una pasada. Muy recomendable para desconectarse de la rutina diaria y disfrutar de los paisajes de la isla .Hasta pronto familia!"
"Simple, but nice, clean, modern style. Well located for a lower cost visit to Furnas. Has a common kitchenette that with fridge, coffe maker, utensils and such, and a cute little market steps away, along with the delicious water of the tres bicas fountain, provide low cost food options. The restaurant downstairs is also very good. "

Meglio questo ostello che tanti alberghi 3 stelle: io sono sempre stata schizzinosa e diffidente, di ogni struttura. qui, tutto top! Ogni letto ha la tendina per privacy e scuro, camere climatizzate, strutture nuove e pulite, ognuno ha una tessera magnetica per camera e armadietto in camera. i servizi per le donne sono provvisti di 3 docce separate (con sapone, finestrella, soffione grande e uno piccolo), porta, tenda scura, ganci… i ex...
"Hassle free check-in (earlier check in was available for us) by a very welcoming and attentive staff. The room was very nice, clean, bright and had comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast was more than adequate. They also had parking on property, which was super convenient. Location is great: near eateries and grocery stores and yes...the hot springs. Love it and would be back again. Thank you, Hotel Vale Verde!"
"We really loved our stay at Furnas. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, breakfast buffet was excellent (it didn’t vary over the 5 days though), the cabin was great and we made good use of our kitchenette (microwave didn’t work). The pool isn’t heated and the weather gets a bit chilly in certain days but it’s not profound so it wasn’t too bad. The hotel proposed a zip line activity which was a lot of fun. The restaurant was only upon reservation at night (4 or 6 course menu) and quite pricey,...
"Very friendly and attentive staff. One of the biggest and tastiest breakfast buffets I’ve seen *anywhere*. Only a five minute walk from the caldeiras. This is an excellent place to base yourself for explore the eastern half of the island."

Those who book this hotel should be aware that while it is in a residential area, there are touches of the 'country' in the neighborhood. "Great location - peaceful, tranquil and walkable to the town. Rooms are a little old and could use some upgrades, but was comfortable. They offer towels for going to the thermal pools. Breakfast was standard continental."
"I was looking for some respite and a place where I had easy access to hiking, the hot springs, and restaurants. I had a two day stay in Furnas before i headed home to the States. I arrived early and lucky for me one of the apartments was available. Not only that, they have me breakfast. The property is so beautifully laid out where you can hear the birds as you relax on one of outside chairs or in your room where an entire wall is made up of windows overlooking the hills.

"I stayed here for one night with my family after our flight was cancelled leaving out of Ponta Delgada. It was a last minute choice and this property was beautiful. I believe it’s new , everything was spotless, food at the restaurant was delicious, would definitely stay again. "
