"Excellent location. Within walking distance to most sites in the historic district and seldom had to use our car. Free, gated, onsite parking during the stay saved an additional $50/day. Well equipped kitchen, full sized refrigerator and ample seating appreciated."

"Bathrooms had zero counter space.
Lighting in rooms terrible. Yellow lighting and not enough. Engineering did get me another table lamp, helpful.
No seating on balcony- very odd.
Food in restaurant great. At breakfast second morning I was told they close down in 15 minutes. Not sure why that was necessary. You’re still open and serving.
Great location, walkable to all I needed. Valet and front desk exceptional service."
"Absolutely loved everything except for the light switches. There were so many light switches in the room. We didn’t know what light went to which switch. Also kind of weird to have the bathtub in the shower wasn’t really a fan. Favorite thing was watching the ships come through the river. If you can get a view of the river absolutely 100% worth it."
SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown / Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is located at the western edge of the old town, it is in a quieter zone compared to the area closer to the river.
Parking was $40
The room was nice, we got the king size and loved the half bathrooms idea.
Good, strong showers.
The breakfast was OK, many staples but some not great, the scrambled eggs were from a box and not very tasty.
Nice gym
I would go back to the hotel next time we go to Savannah!"
Holiday Inn Express Savannah - Historic District by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The location is excellent. Can walk everywhere. Concierge was very helpful in booking excursions. Breakfast options were good and liked that coffee is available 24 hours and fresh brewed. Valet parking staff was great. We will definitely come back."
"First thing, hot water is glorious, but parents beware - it is hot enough to steep tea or make ramen from the tap. =] Just be mindful w/ children.
I have serious food allergies and this is the first hot breakfast I could eat some of w/o fear. They even had almond milk. It may seem trivial, but when awày from home, being able to eat without fear is such a wonderful thing.
The staff was wonderful - both night and day staff. They even helped me with my things - I'd recently broken my wrist and couldn't manage on my own.
My room was clean and had everything I needed, even a table that slides over your lap at the side chair with foot stool. Microwave and fridge. An actual closet w/ a door and ironing board/iron and several wooden hangers. The bathroom had ample towels, soaps, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and a shower cap. Even a hair dryer.
The bed/pillows were comfortable and clean.
All in all, I would absolutely stay here again. Simply because of how great the staff was and how diverse the hot breakfast was for those with different dietary needs.
I was not there long enough to know about other amenities. I hope this review helps you with your hotel selection."
"Room was decently clean and the hotel itself was well maintained. The only thing I would note for first time travelers in the area is that the hotel isn't located in Savannah, but just outside of the city in an area that does at first glance appear a little isolated. However, it was a quick drive/Uber into the city from the hotel, which was awesome."
