"Pool was nice so was work out room. Our room carpet was dirty, tv did not work door latch was broken. Elevator made strange sounds so we took the stairs and there are chipped broken tiles on landings and carpet was dirty on stairs. The bed was uncomfortable very hard. "

"We arrived late and left early so I cannot comment on any of the staff except the night desk clerk who was very nice. She even upgraded our room which I very much appreciated. This is an older hotel and fairly outdated in terms of furnishings. The bed slept well though. Our room which was on the front side of the building was rather loud from highway noise. My biggest complaint has to do with the lighting used throughout the hotel. I realize that it is more cost efficient to use LED lighting, but it is the most uninviting/ugly appearance available. Actually, if Hotels would just learn about using the proper color of LEDs, they could solve the problem. No one wants to come in and relax in a room that feels like a warehouse. I would also feel more comfortable having a lighted, make up mirror in the bathrooms to assist in putting on makeup. Lighting fixtures, which project from the ceiling down cannot adequately show a person’s face well. And, as I’ve gotten older.(67)) my vision isn’t what it once was. . The price of this hotel was pretty good, but I wouldn’t mind paying more for a better quality place. "
