"This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked, full english breakfast as well as lighter options like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs alongside fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. Highly...

"Great place, delicious food and excellent location."

"Property was in a lovely village with a pub serving great food."

"Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. "I loved it. Bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10. I am so glad I stayed at this location! 5 min walk to the historic center of town but quiet at the B&B."

"The property is very central and has easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious but the pub is quite loud at night and you could hear the music until past midnight. You were just given a key and shown where the room was and that was it. The room only had a bath and I wasn’t aware of that"

"Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries."
