"The owner was lovely and very friendly. The hotel was right up my alley, I love anything to do with history. Very clean and well maintained for such an older building. The view of the river is amazing. I didn’t see much of the town, had a long drive and left early the next morning."

"Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. "

"Check-in was quick and easy, but unfortunately we found roaches crawling on the table in our first room. We informed the front desk, and the employee handled it professionally by checking the room and quickly moving us to another one. The second room was cleaner and we did not see any bugs, although there were still some maintenance issues like stained sheets and damage to the walls. Overall, the staff was helpful, but the hotel definitely needs better upkeep and pest control."

"The chairs in the dining area looked worn and ragged. A new pot of coffee took 30 minutes to get refilled. Most of the staff were very nice. We felt everything was clean. The pool room was hot, and the water was cold, not heated. There wasn’t any body wash, only small bars. The room was nice. I guess I expected a bit more from Comfort Inn. I’m not sure I’d stay at that hotel again. Maybe?"

"My overall experience was very positive. The accommodations were clean, well-kept, and in excellent condition. The staff provided exceptional customer service and were consistently friendly and professional. Although parking availability was somewhat limited, it remained manageable. The amenities were satisfactory, and the pool area was well-maintained. I would consider staying here again."

"The room smelt like incense were burned 24/7. Every towel I received had nasty stains on them. The bathroom shower was dirty, with hairs that did not belong to me. 3 of the 4 pillow cases were stained or dirty as well as the top blanket. The floor definitely had not been mopped or swept. When the cleaning person came, the took the trash and replaced the towels with more dirty/stained towels. Lastly, there was blood splatter in the ceiling in the restroom."

"Breakfast had normal offerings, breakfast area was clean. Our room was mostly clean, found random candy wrappers laying on nightstand. The traffic noise is something to consider, my hubs is a light sleeper, so bothered him more than I. We would stay here again though."
