"I’ve stayed here plenty of time in which the other times were okay. But this time the room was dirty and smelled like mold and there was a strong smell coming from the drain. Worst stay ever. I couldn’t even stay there and they had no other rooms to switch me to. I reserved it for 2 nights and didn’t stay either I went to a friends house in town. "The rooms were clean but there were several people smoking right outside of the entrances. One of our rooms did not have a shower curtain upon arrival. I do have a question re: handicapped accessible rooms. The rooms were on the lower level- which was fine. BUT to get to the breakfast area room, you either walked up and around the outside of the building or climbed stairs. ALSO to use the shower, you had to be able to raise your leg at least 15 inches to clear the side of the tub. THEN TO STEP...

"This Red Lion is conventient and inexensive. I stay there frequently when I'm working in the area. Having said this, there are some minor issues almost every time I stay. "Let’s start off by saying I’m a trucker and I have extremely low expectations. But this place is an absolute dump. Pillow, shower curtain, and towels all had stains on them. The floors hadn’t been swept in weeks let alone mopped in months. The baseboards looked like they had blood stains on them. The hallway carpets have clearly never been cleaned. "The staff was extremely polite and welcoming. The property was fairly clean but is really showing wear. Carpets in elevators were badly stained and universal machine in workout room needed maintenance. Location was great as it is very close to highways. In the hotel's defense, it looks like they are in the process of some renovations. I hope they get those finished. I would use this hotel in the future if I were in town."
