You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. I had some dental work done around the mall de pacifico area and payed less than $2 for Uber to get there. Yes I probably could have walked but the sun was intense. Very convenient, clean, safe and cheap. Would recommend!"
