"The bedroom itself was pretty clean. There was a pile of dirt at the foot of the bed that has not been picked up. The bed was comfortable, however, there was a large amount of black mold in the shower, and only in the shower. That did not make us feel great, but it was a quick shower in the morning. "A second visit after many years to this lovely hotel. The staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. Everything is meticulously clean. It’s a quiet corner of Santa Marinella overlooking the castle’s private park and the full breadth of the sea from our room on the second floor (no lift but it’s manageable).
