"The hotel exterior has weathered since we stayed in 2018. However, the suites did not change and they were in excellent shape. Food and drinks were excellent. Finally, Smathers Beach was disappointing due to the sea weed accumulation. Key West should help in removing so access to water can be obtained by guests."

"Everything about our 1 bedroom direct beach access ocean view suite was spectacular except for the jacuzzi tub in the room. The water wasn’t even like warm and not all the jets worked. Considering the shower water was hot I didn’t understand this. Bed was very comfortable and so were the couches. Refrigerator was great to have as well as the microwave and toaster. "This is not your five-star resort. It is clean, cute, and more than fine for a stay. We chose this property due to the location. We weren't in Key West for the typical Key West stuff. I wanted to be close to the port for the Dry Tortugas ferry. The resort is a bit outdated, but well maintained. The rooms are layers of paint and bathrooms are older colors, so it doesn't look great, but it is very clean. The bathroom was very small but served its purpose just fine.
