"It’s a nice property… a little dated, but in good condition. Fantastic location. Gondola service into town was fantastic.
Only complaint is summer season options for dining/drinks are very limited with hours and mostly focused at a neighboring property.

"Really great people in every aspect of the place. From front desk to concierge (Carol) to ski (Nathan) and parking valet, all great! Some aspects of the rooms are just beginning to get a little worn and dated - to be expected in a ski resort. Absolutely great location!"
"The room was very charming, with a private balcony. The second floor lobby was very comfortable for eating and lounging. The hotel supplies hot water for tea or hot chocolate at all times, plus all plates, bowls, mugs, and silverware, and with a fridge and microwave in the room, it was very easy to prepare simple meals there. It's an easy walk to Main Street or to the Peak 8 gondola."
"We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Thunder Lodge this past weekend. You absolutely cannot beat the location; it's a peaceful spot nestled in the pines, but still just a five-minute walk to Main Street and the gondola. Loved the pool and hot tub!"

"The property has a lot of good amenities including valet parking, hot tubs, and lot of events happening in the lobby area! The staff was really polite and helpful. The location is also good and is located close to the Main Street."

Some of the staff are exceptional however, and turned what would have been a one-star review stay to this five-star review. "This "hotel" is a collection of vacation apartments, so the amenities are different from a regular hotel. For example, there's no restaurant on site. It usnt a problem, as its just a few steps from Main street, tge studio has a full kitchen, and you have grills on site. I lucked out, with a great view overlooking Maggie Pond."
