"We stayed for one night prior to cruise departure. The staff were helpful, friendly. All room and amenities spaces were clean and neat. When we thought that we'd left something behind, all email responses were quick and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to food, activities, and the cruise ship pier."

"Der Urlaub hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir sind mit Auto angereist und am Hotel waren genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Der Preis lag bei 25€ pro Tag und kann direkt im Hotel bezahlt werden. Das Zimmer war sehr gepflegt und sauber. WC und Dusche waren getrennt. Eigentlich ein Vorteil, aber schade, dass dann im WC kein Waschbecken vorhanden ist und man zum Hände waschen erst in den anderen Raum laufen muss. "We enjoyed our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and staff was welcoming. Our room was rather small but comfortable with well stocked essentials. Great location. They also offered bikes for use."

"PROs: Locations/Modern/Near Metro/Clean/Everything working/option for brekkie but expensive/Shower toiletries included and liquid soap for sink. CONS: Bike rental reasonable but was not smooth process to exit hotel, bikes only one size and had a smaller adult who just about found a lone bike small enough then bike bits could be better maintained - one couldn't unlock and other seat loose. But we made it work. We had been left to collect and work out by ourselves and after requesting assistance...

"This location is not close to anything. The early check in starts at 1:00 but nothing available. We did finally get checked in a little before 3:00. We explored the outside of the ship, where there is a small park which was very dirty with litter/trash and not well kept. Walking along the pier there was cigarette butts everywhere and some trash. Inside the ship hotel it was very warm.....no air flowing in the lobby. Our room was on the "A" deck at the very back of the ship....a long ways. ...

"Der Check-out um 11:00 Uhr war für mich leider zu früh. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders überzeugend. Die Lobby war klein und die Sitzmöglichkeiten nicht sehr bequem. Im Restaurant wurde kein guter Kaffee angeboten. Außerdem gab es auf dem Zimmer kein Trinkwasser. Insgesamt fand ich das Hotel gemessen am Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht besonders gut. Es war eine Erfahrung, die ich nicht noch einmal machen muss."

Room cleaning staff did not change sheets regularly / refill soap until we spoke with manager. Everything was sorted out after that. Very pleased with the hotel and would happily return."

"Unsere Erfahrung im Leonardo Hotel Papendrecht war leider enttäuschend. Bereits der Empfang wirkte unfreundlich und lustlos. Auf Nachfrage wurde nicht wirklich hilfsbereit reagiert, sondern eher patzig. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bequem und die Dusche. Besonders die Regendusche war sehr gut. Das waren für uns die positiven Punkte. Allerdings wirkte das Mobiliar etwas veraltet, und die Kaffeemaschine war defekt. Es gab zwar eine Minibar, die Getränke waren jedoch nur gegen Bezahlung...

"The rooms were well equipped, clean and well presented. The air-conditioning worked well. There was a bit of a funny smell in the room which I think comes from the fact you can't open the windows so no fresh air can get in. Breakfast was fantastic and the kids loved it. It was a good hotel and we'd stay there again."
