"This place is a JOKE. It is so expensive & it’s literally just a 5 story motel. We had to switch rooms bc the original room on the 4th floor had drywall mud all over the curtains & walls. The next room wasn’t much better, no trash can liners, that was weird. NO conditioner in the shower container, When we asked for fresh sheets and the room to be cleaned on day 2, we were told “No. That only comes with a 4 night + stay. There is no bistro. "I liked that it was convenient and had a cool bar. Something about the antiquity inspired me. I didn’t like that the rooms had no air conditioning controls, no coffee makers and slow… hold the handle to flush potties. "I can't say enough about the Tropical Resort and Marina, The guy at check-in is always so nice and helpful, the cleaning staff is great, their property is always clean and attended, the pool is perfect. "Front desk staff was amazing and helpful! The breakfast was delicious but the giy serving was very rude when telling me we weren’t allowed to combine tables for my family of 8, politely would have been appreciated. The room was clean and definitely worth the money. Spa was broken during my visit but the heated pool was nice. I wish i would have noticed they had a grill available before, i would have for sure used it! The gym was clean, tea/coffee bar was hot at 11pm! Great stay! 9.9 out of 10!"
