"We started at wonderful Hotel Baeren for two nights, and loved every second! We arrived a little late, and our key was left for us, super convenient to check in. Ample free parking right next to the hotel, close to everything and VERY quiet. The staff was so kind and welcoming. "A very basic hotel near Zurich. Absolutely bare-bones furnishing (with not even a glass in the bathroom or bedroom!). The hotel bed was rather uncomfortable...making a good night's sleep difficult as well.
Suitable only for highly price-conscious travelers for 1 or 2 nights.
Further, the hotel seems to have very poor systems. At every step of check-in and check-out, they wanted me to pay City tax extra, which had already been paid at the time of booking. I had to call their Helpline every time to explain and then they would let me proceed. "
