"Terrible- i have stayed in at least 20 hotels around Japan and this one has the worst service by far.
They don’t let you leave your luggage ar the reception to go sightseeing for a few hours.
I bought and paid late checkout and explicitly told them not to wake up 10’times, guess what they called and woke me up anyway.
Specifically people at the reception were not friendly
We arrived at dinner time, but they refused to serve us dinner because we did not book for it in advance and there is no other food in the hotel, and around the hotel you have to walk far just to eat which is also not recommended due to the risk of Bear attacks"
"Exceptional hotel, great to stay, great meal and great front desk service. Staff are very friendly and eager to assist. Will return to stay for sure!"
"Our room was amazing. We loved having our private onsen, and took every opportunity to use it to relax and rejuvenate our bodies. Both of us felt very taken care of, and it was the highlight of our Japan trip. It was nice to be able to slow down and recuperate.
That being said. If you have an allergy to a certain food, make sure you let them know in advance so they can prepare your breakfast properly (they start preparing breakfast the day before, so if you didn't tell them in advance, they can't change it). "
"Great place to stay near the train station. The staff were nice and there are a lot of free amenities offered. It was quiet, we could not hear any street traffic. Would recommend this hotel. Only recommendation is the clothes dryers didn’t really dry. Dried for 1.5 hours and they were still wet. Maybe this is just Japanese dryers?"
