"Excellent breakfast altho coffee machine is a bottleneck (why isn't there a coffee urn to speed up the process?) Room could be updated especially the bathroom. Entry door frame to room and wall badly scuffed - needs repainting. And a very hard wooden but quaint chair was very uncomfortable to sit on. Balcony needs another chair and a table to put drinks on. Had to put glasses on the floor. In this day and age there needs to be more charging outlets in convenient locations bedside the bed and desk area. Location is excellent for attending the Verbier Festival with bus stop close by to go to the centre of town."

"The hotel's location is great; there are nearby restaurants, and the village center is very close—it's a small village. There is parking available, which is free at night and paid during the day at a reasonable rate. The girl at the reception during the evening shift was very kind. When we first arrived, we found that the room's AC wasn't working well, but she changed our room and was very helpful and pleasant. The beds are comfortable, and the room and bathroom are excellent. My only observation is that, since I had read previous reviews where most guests complained about the air conditioning, I checked it upon arrival and found it wasn't working. We were moved to a room where the AC was functioning, but it wasn't cooling very strongly. Given that the temperatures were 27°C during the day and 22°C at night, I expected much better performance. I expect that if there were a stronger heatwave, the AC would be ineffective. Since the hotel is otherwise lovely, it would be great if they could pay more attention to the air conditioning system."

"Great location opposite the train station and Tourism Office so its easy to find. Quite a grand old building. It has a restaurant which is quite exoensive but the cafe which seems to be an extension of the same space including a terrace appeared to serve drinks and had a Plat du jour which was cheaper. Rooms were big and nicely furnished. Good shower."

"I'm travelling throughout Switzerland for one month by train, so proximity to a station is important to me. This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. It's a fairly basic property and has seen better days, but it is priced accordingly, so that was a fair trade-off for me. Breakfast options were limited, but again it was priced accordingly. One thing that threw me at first was the virtual check-in (all reception service is virtual there) because I do not recall being alerted to that when I booked, but it works fine and is staffed 24/7. Another oddity was having to switch the lights on manually when walking along the hallway and in the elevator waiting area on my floor. I've stayed in dozens of hotels in continental Europe and the UK and never encountered that before. "
