"The room was smaller than we anticipated which is not the fault of Peakhurst, just noting. When we arrived there was not a clear location to check in. It was only 730pm and were told in the contact information that it would still be open for check in. We went to the restaurant to ask and they contacted someone to come open up the check in location. "The check-in process and staff were very friendly and helpful. While i knew it was just a room and a shared bathroom. Both were kept clean and in good condition. Had fresh towels everyday. The only downfall is that depending on the room you have. There is a window that is not covered and has a bright ledlight shining into the room. So its never fully dark for you to sleep. But that didn't really bother us. "

I've twice had minor problems with a blocked sink, but I've always had A/C's that worked well, fridges that worked well and froze water and very clean rooms. Rare features in budget hotels these days. And the hotel and grounds are always clean and tidy. "

"The room itself was adequate. But this property isn’t very nice. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The front desk is an afterthought next to a bar in a casino. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. But the property was very dated and run down. "

"The pillow was terrible. It had absolutely no volume at all. The room was clean and tidy but they need a revamp. It was fine for the 2 nights we were there. "

"The hotel is 15 min drive, not 3 like is advertised. The rooms are very, very small but clean. The problem is the extreme noise from the street, thin walls between the rooms and constant noise from running bathroom water. Difficult to sleep. "

"I have a medical condition that makes it hard to carry thongs so the gentleman who checked me in carried my two large bags and a heavy esky up the two flights of stairs to my room for me, which ws5 very /much appreciated."
