"The room was really nice. Clean. Nice size bathroom with plenty of lighting. The only drawback to the room was that the TV sat on top of the dresser, which was at an angle and distance making it difficult to see and hear, unless one turns up the volume. Parking was great. I stayed in a lot of hotels, and this was the first I can remember that had ample size stalls. Plent of room."

"This was my second time staying at the Best Western Plus Burnaby. It’s located in a highly walkable area near a couple of Korean grocery stores and plenty of restaurants (including KFC, hot pot spots, and boba shops). The staff members were friendly, as usual. Breakfast was served in a different dining room this time, though it offered fewer varieties than before. The facilities were decent."

"The MET hotel has a bar underneath and by the train station. If you want convenient location this is the place, however the second floor rooms can hear and feel the music downstairs. It was karaoke night Friday, and the singing was not pleasing when you want to sleep and relax on your own. The hotel location has a lot of drunk people or perhaps under the influence. It’s a bit scary to roam around. I checked in late around 8 pm, I requested to be moved in upper level floors and when it wasn’t...

"I had a really great stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey. The room was brand new, super clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. "Clean, bright room and sunset view. Property is dated with an aesthetic I can’t quite name - 90’s nightclub chic? Hotel was full of youth sports teams which was quite delightful until it wasn’t. I would never recommend any adult stay here for a restful or respectful stay. Hallways jammed with kids playing tag, the nice outdoor pool (hot tub out of order) was a complete gong show - and this is coming from a parent with young kids."

"The room was very spacious and conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. There was access to a kitchen, dinning table and lounge area. However, everything was poorly clean and maintained. The carpet, some towels, and beddings were worn out and stained. The fridge, coffee maker and other kitchen gadgets were dirty. There was mess around, e.g., empty alcohol bottles, deflated balloons in a corner, etc. I don't think it was worth what we paid."

"This was an exceptional property and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and the view of the river was beautiful. We had to leave early in the morning and the owner left out a packaged breakfast for us. We would definitely stay there again."
