"Room was clean and tidy.
However the drive way was so steep that our standard Corolla grounded so hard we had to park at the McDonald’s next door a higher SUV tho would be ok can I suggest that if possible the top of the drive be flattened a bit. The house was very good value and the instructions spot on so aside from the drive a very good value for money stay Thanks"

"Such a beautiful property. The room and added perks (heated towel rack and bathroom floors) were second to none! The staff was so friendly and focus on making it a perfect stay. We wish we stayed more than one night to take advantage of dinner and amenities. We drove from picton on way to auckland so arrived late and left early! If we ever come back we will stay longer for sure!!"

"Great value for money and excellent service from host Iris. Lodge is a little dated but it’s huge with plenty of activities from a pool, snooker/pool table, gym, gaming devices, tennis courts and extensive grounds. Location is handy to main highways, some of the key attractions and only 20 mins into central Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again."

"This was our first time staying at this property, and we were very impressed. We stayed in a suite and found the check-in process to be quick and easy. It was also convenient to find a parking space close to our room, and we appreciated the range of facilities on offer.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was exceptionally clean, and the spa bath was more like a spa pool, which was a fantastic bonus. The underfloor heating added an extra touch of comfort...

"The actual hotel is tired and the outside needs a revamp.
The first room I had was noisy pipes constantly going.
I sat on the toilet seat and the back lid fell off.
I was moved to another room, which was not much better, on one side of me I could hear children and adults talking into the night. The other side someone was having a bath at odd hours 12am and 3am.
The parking is random no allocation so it’s a guess every night what’s going to be free. First 20 minutes of being there I demand a...

"Loved the private outside hot tub, completely private . Plenty of water to fill it between uses. The room is spacious. The bathroom was modern and the shower impeccable with glass enclosure. We always bring the our own coffee machine but there were other options for coffee. It was close to all amenities and attractions.
The staff was super accommodating. I did t use the stove but fridge was spacious for our needs."
