The main complaint was the lack of communication on things happening throughout the resort and the food options. There were only two restaurants that were available without reservations and one of them was completely closed for a private event one night... leaving only the buffet. "

"This is not a hotel I would recommend! Staff are very unprofessional and need further training. Check in is at 15:00pm, we arrived at 14:55pm, then had to wait 40 minutes for a room. I was advised that I would get upgraded to an ocean view room. Unfortunately this was not honoured, I was given a room over looking a dirty swimming pool! Then the icing on the cake was we were provided with dirty towels. I asked to speak to a manager about the matters, the staff was rude then had a handyman act as manager. If he was a manager his presentation was not of a manager. He wore a dirty yellow t shirt, jeans and dirty trainers. He was not helpful and the matter was not resolved, we was still provided with dirty towels."

"We had a cottage with beach view and it was lovely. The accommodations are a bit rustic but we enjoyed it. Centrally located on seven mile beach and beautiful grounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"The room was very clean, the staff was pleasant and accommodating, there are a few food items that the bar/restaurant was out of because of the hurricane but that isn’t a fault of the staff, just Mother Nature’s effects. The bartenders were fun and made great drinks. We thought we would spend time in the pools but the ocean in front of Rondel is so perfect, we never had a reason to use the pools. To make it even more perfect, to get to the beach you walk through a path filled with gorgeous flowers and plant life. The water in the hot tubs was pretty low but at night it was really nice to warm up in them. The location is perfect if you don’t mind walking the beach a little. Reggae right next door everyday from 2-7. Minimal people walking past because you’re far enough down the beach to be away from the floods of tourists. Close to a delicious cafe and smoothies at Woodstock. Close to live music at Roots Bamboo and Woodstock most nights. And restaurants all over in either direction. Please try the banana bread and juices from the juice lady that stops by everyday. And the mangoes and patties and sugarcane you can buy on the beach. We stayed at an all inclusive earlier and it was great but we didn’t have access to these foods and they are so so good. We’re already planning our next trip!"
