"If you have a vehicle you will be ok otherwise I do not recommend. It is extremely difficult to get Uber to that location compared to if you’re staying in the city center. The property has two secured gates which you have to message the owner to open for you to leave the premises and re-enter which is very inconvenient. The complimentary wine however was a nice touch. "

"This is luxury personified. Stunning views, wonderful rooms with the option to stay in bespoke accommodation. Such as a private pool or hot tub options. There is simply no better view on the Helshgoote Pass. Staff were extremely helpful with nice touches to enhance guests stay throughout. This is a high end luxury hotel with a relaxed atmosphere we will definitely be returning."

"Mooi appartement, veilig gelegen in het centrum van Stellenbosch (aan de Dorpstraat). Supermarket nagenoeg aan de overkant. Prima keukenfaciliteiten. Wel iets donker (belangrijk dus om goed met licht te werken). Groot nadeel was WIFI dat je apart moet kopen maar buitenlandse creditcards werken niet. Heel vervelend. We were travelling with our baby and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff - they had thoughtfully put a mosquito net over the cot they had set up for her and there was a high chair ready and set up every morning when we came down for breakfast - we really appreciated these touches. "My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most amazing visit, with a picturesque view overlooking the vineyards. The hotel is in the middle of Banhoek Valley, near fantastic vineyards and a short drive to both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Nadia and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful as we planned our days. Would love to visit again soon"

"The location is excellent and the parking is secure and safe. Unfortunately another guest had issues with the alarm on their vehicle going off for two nights. The on-call person did sort this out. The configuration of the suite is a bit awkward as there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom. The privacy screen provided is not enough. There was no tissue / Kleenex provided. All in all we did enjoy staying in the property and would probably return in the future. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Coopmanhuijs. The location was perfect right in middle of shops and restaurants. The room was on the small side but very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good. "Lovely cottage, nicely decorated, great bed and spacious. Hosts went out of their way to get us wifi, which was difficult to purchase. Wifi though was weak throughout our stay (we were on 8 down, 2 up for 3 gig). Kitchen had all the dishes and pots needed, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, one dish towel, no dish cloths, no paper towels.
