"The room was very clean. The staff provided necessary assistance. Breakfast was good. There was an unpleasant scent from the beach but steps were taken to rectify it. The flushing lever on the toilet was not working properly. The good outweighed the bad so I would try them again."

"Excellent place and worth the money we paid. It’s very close to the beach and many other places. The staff are super friendly, lovely pool for the kids. The garden and the pool area is very comfortable. Glad to haven been there for 3 nights."

"Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. There were groups of sports teams from the UK there. Unfortunately when they arrived the restaurant focused more on them than the other guests resulting in long wait times to order and receive food and drink. You must treat ALL your guests appropriately. I believe the hotel was built in 2003. They can use some upgrades. The rooms have actual "keys" instead of key cards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would return again."

"I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. "This was my first time in Barbados & my stay at South Gap Hotel was excellent! I booked a week vacation in honor of my birthday . All of the staff members were very nice & friendly, the rooms are very tidy/clean. The restaurant and bar on property is amazing & reasonably priced! "The worst experience I ever had traveling out the country. The resort was terrible. The food was terrible. They only gave you one plate per one plate breakfast lunch, and dinner and the food was horrible. Would not recommend. Do not go here. The pool was nasty and dirty and closed at 6 PM."

"This is one of my favorite repeat hotels. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The location can't be beat. Everything in walking distance.
