"The room was very clean, parking was adequate, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just OK, not great. The rooms are a little pricey, but they can get away with charging that price because there are few options in Savanna."
"We were dissatisfied that 10 minutes before 9 am the breakfast ending, there was nothing left to eat. Many visitors had to leave with no breakfast. Mind that it was Memorial Day weekend and hours should be extended to holiday hours."
"Booked thru Expedia at right under $200/2 nights. Check-in-went very smooth. The first room was dirty & this type of neglect is on purpose; to allow anyone but a cleaner to enter it, was offensive. There were spiders in the bathtub, questionable stains on pillow cases, walls, and curtains, dirt/dust gathered throughout. The beds were very much soiled, can’t remember if they had mattress covers. Very nice bedside lights, with addtl light for night reading (good idea), if you could muster the guts to sleep in the room. The FD staff did switch our room and apologized. The 2nd room was better; however, curtains were tattered and not hanging properly, window didn’t lock (ground floor), water pressure seemed low but could be that a new shower head is needed? The floor in the bathroom was also very dirt, beyond needing hot water/soap/bleach. I covered it with towels. They have these long mirrors that would be nice if they were cleaned properly. The beds were actually comfortable. The air/heat did work. TV, microwave, and fridge worked but freezer needs to be defrosted, so wasn’t able to use it. The breakfast was fair: waffles, bagels, muffins, sausage gravy and biscuits, sausages, potatoes (not all on same day but was hot and had flavor when served), coffee, juices. My late check-out request was extended 30 addtl minutes without issues/charge. Would I stay again? No, ONLY bc rooms are dirty, staff seemed professional/pleasant, bed comfortable, food fair, parking lot acceptable"
"The place was really nice, UNTIL the morning we were checking out. One of the Staff POUNDED on the door so hard is scared the $#@$%$ out of us. There was absolutely NO REASON for a Staff Member to pound on the door at 9am when checkout is at 11am. Will never stay here again"
