"This property is right in the heart of Florence. Location is within easy walking distance to all major attractions (and only a 3 min walk from Trattoria ZaZa and Mercato Centrale). Most importantly, the rooms are spotless and fully updated in a modern hotel style. The service from the owner was nothing short of excellent. It’s a 10! We would highly recommend staying here. "

"Very nice room we stayed in, with decent bathroom and shower. Very clean, and comfortable. Excellent location for seeing the sights.
Not easily accessible by car if you're driving, so watch out. The host was very helpful and made our stay and welcome pleasant."

"We loved this charming hotel! Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, helpful. That they are clearly proud to work there is evident in their enthusiasm for telling us the history of the building and how perfectly located it is for seeing some of Florence's famous sites. They went the "extra mile" and even provided us with a delicious box breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning. We will definitely recommend Il Guelfo Bianco to anyone looking for a place to stay in...

"We’ve been traveling through Italy in the main cities and this hotel so far has been the best. The staff made it so special, always going above expectation. Restaurant was really good for food too! Big thank you to the reception desk, waiting on staff, chefs and cleaners.

"It is located in a historical area of Florence. Duomo is about .4 miles away and 7-8 minute walk. Very safe except for the sirens of the policia which I would rather have over quiet crimes. The beds were so comfortable and doesn’t move when you toss and turn. Water in the fridge was so affordable in case you need to use their supply compared to other hotels we have stayed in. "We loved this hotel. The room was lovely and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. The people were so nice. The breakfast was good and quaint. There is no elevator and there are two flight of stairs to get to the hotel, however upon arrival, the staff carried our suitcases up and when checking out, the staff carried our suitcases down the stairs. We would definitely stay here again."

"This Apartment was absolutely perfect. It is very nicely updated, luxurious and very clean. It is located only steps from the Duomo and 1/2 a block from the Tram that takes you to the Florence Airport. Lorenzo, our host, was wonderful at communication, and was very accommodating when we travelled into Florence and met us to give us the key. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to see the wonders of Florence."

"We stayed here twice during our visit to Italy and we were so impressed by the staff and the property. We had to catch an early cab on our second stay and they even packed us a breakfast to go. Walking distance to many things, excellent food nearby,clean and updated facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. "
