"First time stayed at this hotel in St. Jacobs. Location is excellent. Places we wanted to visit were just steps away. Ample self-parking spaces on-site. Very convenient. Staff is very informative. Dining room staff is courteous and efficient to bring out fresh batch of cooked or baked food. One of the best self-serve continental breakfast. "Please do your research before booking this property. This "hotel" is primarily used as long term housing for refugees and is no longer well maintained. As I pulled into the parking lot there was a broken window on one of the first floor rooms by where i parked my car, large groups hanging out in the parking lot, and residents throwing out large garbage bags into the buildings garbage bins. "We stayed in the Hannah room on second floor
It was nice to have a bathroom ensuite and little balcony
We were able to use the bbq for dinner & put some food in mini fridge in bedroom
I enjoyed learning about this historical house & surrounding area
Jodie was easy to talk to and get a hold of
Parking in rear is close by
We met a lovely couple also staying there and played some cards together after dinner
