Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und bietet mit seinen Pools und dem Strandzugang inkl. eigener Liegen eine super Möglichkeit, um in der Sonne zu entspannen und zwischendurch mal ins Wasser zu springen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, einige Kellner konnten allerdings kaum/kein Englisch. Aufgefallen ist außerdem, dass wenig gelächelt wurde. Die Türen zum Bad in den Zimmern sind "offen" (Jalousietüren), das ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil man somit kaum Privatsphäre hat. Die Anlage war gepflegt und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen und würde wieder herkommen.

Nettes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, sehr ruhig und konnte prima entspannen. Es gibt noch zimmerschlüssel, der Anhänger ist sehr unpraktisch und schwer! Hatte nur Frühstück, das war ok. Öffnungszeiten vom Restaurant eher spät für meine Verhältnisse : Beginn 19h! Aber ja, es war ein schöner entspannte Auszeit und ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen

Had a great holiday at Morabeza. Beautiful, attractive hotel. Nice Junior Suite with large bathroom. Spacious, well kept garden. Bordering the beach and the town of Santa Maria, everything within walking distance. Not to mention: fantastic, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This is a very good hotel. But not as good as it should be. Many details were never explained to me when I checked in. For example: there was supposed to be a welcome drink/meeting the following morning, this was not mentioned to me. I found out days later and it would have been very helpful to me if I had known about it. As a result, several things were a mystery to me: The restaurants - I showed up at the downstairs restaurant for their buffet dinner on Saturday evening. I was told all the tables were reserved and there was no table for me. Someone else had earlier told me that reservations were not required, so I just showed up. This also happened two days later. I also wondered about towels - I had a green towel but I noticed most people had blue towels. As a result I was afraid to use the main pool and bar area because I didn't see any green towels. I went to ask about it and was told the green towel was actually a higher class and I could go anywhere. Who knew? Certainly I was never told and felt banished to the distant 600 block pool area. So...many, many strange details and lack of communications.. Perhaps a language barrier? Great hotel, not so great management I would say. Several waiting staff were also less than friendly or helpful. This hotel does the have the best location on the beach. The town area is somewhat sketchy, especially at night. Many aggressive sellers of all commodities.

Morabeza Hotel - charming, elegant and idyllic.
Our stay was excellent. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping and cleanliness of the room was very good. The gardens are beautifully kept. The area around the pool was spotless. The location is fabulous, close to town and right on the beach. The hotel is quietly luxurious, elegant and very charming. It’s gorgeously relaxing - no loud music or pool activities - but you can learn a few words of Creole, how to play Uril and Petanque, and there is live local music in the bar a few nights per week. Guest services can help with anything and everything.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich Hotel ist sehr sauber, es wird permanent dezent geputzt und das Hotel in Stand gehalten. Es ist ruhig. Das Frühstück ist gut aber ohne Abwechslung, liegt auch daran dass alles auf die Insel gebracht werden muss. Die Speisen sind frisch und gut gekocht. Die Bar hat ein schönes Ambiente, gute Aussicht und einen tollen Service. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass der Wechsel Bettwäche erst nach Fragen gemacht wurde. Das Hotel ist so st sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotel is a little dated, air con and electric fan were noisy, bathroom did not have an extractor, bath robes in the list of facilities didn't appear despite a request. Hotel is in an excellent location with lots of space and is peaceful and quiet.

The Morabeza is a haven of peace and tranquility; it is not for those who like a hectic life! They do not have swimming pools with big water chutes, play load music all day or have an endless list of activities. It is for those who have travelled for real relaxation - we couldn't believe how wonderfully quiet it is! The staff move quietly through the hotel and grounds, politely respectful. The rooms are very quiet thus ensuring good sleep and privacy. It is a wonderful hotel and it comes highly recommended by ourselves - thank you Morabeza for being what you are

LOVELY HOTEL
The hotel is beautiful and we loved our room. It has very easy access to the town which comes alive at night with lots of very good restaurants. The beach side restaurant was great for lunch, we only ate at the hotel on 2 evenings as there are lots of great restaurants in the town Only downside was breakfast. It was a buffet style breakfast but not all the food was covered and there were flies everywhere. If you want a guided tour around the island then ask for Nelson he was a great guide

Felt that food options were very limited especially around the pool area. A pizza oven wouldn’t go amiss. Bathrooms don’t afford much privacy due to the type of door.
