"Slightly tired rooms but a lovely pub/restaurant with great staff. Fantastic location just at the top of the high street and only a couple of minutes from the National Trust property. A bit noisy but that’s the price you pay for the location. Recommended!"

"Limited restaurant time to eat, closed at 8 pm. Rooms facing the road could clearly hear the road due to inadequate fixings to hold window closed tightly. ( Wooden windows) This did affect nights sleep."

"Firstly I will start by saying the staff in this hotel are possibly the nicest and most helpful bunch you could ask for, going out of their way to help with the questions we had. The room was comfortable, lovely and clean and it had a cvery osy vibe to it. We arrived at our booking around 9 and the manger even rang us about 8.45 to ask if we wanted to order anything to eat before the kitchen closed to make sure we had eaten. Breakfast in the morning was also of a high quality and very tasty....
