"it was the worst experience in my life. I am not scared of the atmosphere of living plant and animal nature, I love it. but when there is dirt and terrible chaos around, garbage is lying around the territory and you are met by a man in terrible dirty clothes… I felt dangerous and wanted to run away. the road to the hotel is terrible and has one-way traffic. swamp and darkness. I have no idea what to do if someone comes the other way. feeling unsafe and dirty. we said that we did not want to stay...

"A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away.

"Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok.
A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. "
