My girlfriend and I were staying on property for her birthday and I wanted to surprise her with roses that morning. "This hotel was awesome! I was trying book a hotel from American Express Platinum Hotel Collection, but everything was way overpriced. I feel like I got an Amex Fine Hotel and Resort property at 1/3 the price. Not the staffing or service of a 5 star hotel. But a 5 star room and property. Great location, just a 5 or 7 minute walk to the Duomo/Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore/center of it all. Great to get out of the crowds, but close to it all. Run, don't walk to book this hotel."
