Staying at a hotel up in the mountains made the experience even more special, and we were lucky to enjoy a beautiful white Christmas during our two-night stay. The service was excellent. The food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel is well appointed with fresh rooms, amazing mountain views and shuttles to the area ski lifts. "This hotel is quite roomy and comfortable and very warm in the winter. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a good variety, especially the fresh fruit and salmon. The downside is no fridge or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The manager happily did laundry for us which we really appreciated. We walked from the train (easy enough downhill) but learned afterwards that a bus meets the train, so look out for it!"
