This property is 3 stars and not 4 stars as listed by expedia. I am very disappointed. The staff is super friendly, however the property is lacking in cleanliness and the rooms smell very damp and musty.

I felt warmly welcomed by the staff. I came to San Diego to celebrate my anniversary, and the staff helped me upgrade my room. I really love the sea view from my room window. Thank you so much! They also wrote some kind words to us and left a box of macarons, which is my favorite dessert!

We stayed here for 7 days with our 15 month-old and had the best time! The suites are perfect for travel with a toddler- the living room means you can hang out after their bedtime, which was awesome. The rooms were super clean. We found the staff to be super helpful and kind. From the valet to the front desk to housekeeping, just really pleasant and helpful people! Erica was so kind to my son at (free) breakfast, Estefania was really awesome at the front desk, the awesome bartenders at happy hour, I could go on and on. The area leaves a little be desired but very close to Seaport Village which has lots of places to eat/ drink, as well as the ocean. Would definitely recommend staying here as a family!

Super quick and seamless check in. Great communication from front desk. So incredibly friendly. Hotel remodel is clean, fresh, and modern. Great size of rooms especially compared to local competitors. Corner room with bay view is the way to go.

The place was immaculate. The front desk was slow and not well organized. They were polite, but provided "canned" responses for questions asked. Not too sincere. The breakfast crew was wonderful. From the friendly chefs to the incredibly polite and humble Donna that cleared our table. The morning valet needs help. He was scrambling to keep up.

Absolutely a great place to stay if you are visiting to catch a baseball game at Petco Park. Everything is in walking distance, the Midway is across the street, tons of restaurant options, DoorDash friendly. The best part was the customer service and the assistant manager of the hotel, Curtis Presley. He went beyond and above helping us out with navigating San Diego. Curtis and the entire staff of Embassy Suites are really amazing and really help people with disabilities and making you feel welcomed. This is a place we will stay every time we come out to San Diego because of our experience. Also, they have amazing breakfast options that are complimentary. If you stay in a suite you are given $25.00 dollars a day to spend at their gift shop, restaurant, or any other place on their hotel. Thank you Curtis and Embassy Suites for making our stay so wonderful!!

Great hotel within walking distance from USS Midway, Seaport Village, Santa Fe train Depot and of course the waterfront. Hotel is a little dated but the staff does a great job keeping facilities clean and stocked. We love the free breakfast and evening happy hour! As a family of 5, the sleeping arrangements work well for us with two beds and a sofa bed. We love having seaport village close as the kids love the little shops, eating ice cream and looking at the cool ships. The Puesto is across the street and you have Cheesecake Factory and a couple of other higher end restaurants so not a lot to choose from with restaurants but you do have more choices inside Seaport village that are a little cheaper. They do have valet service that’s mandatory and will set you back $55 a night but the staff are friendly and helpful bringing your vehicle up.

Parking fee is $60 per day! We had a dog so add another $81. Other smaller fees. The extra fees came to around $225 for a 2 night stay.

Loved the breakfast buffet, area was perfect and staff was friendly. I give the room cleanliness a 9, the restroom could’ve used a little bit of improvement. Found hairs on the tub, I am very peculiar when it comes to this.

Would've been 5 stars if not for the special mandatory $25 charge that is returned to you as the "hotel shopping dollars", which is bad as is but what makes it worse is that you have to spend them until 10pm or you will lose them; so if you check in at 10pm, you will still be charged but without a chance to redeem them. Another annoyance is the breakfast "buffet". It IS buffet for everything but eggs, bacon, potatoes, and pancakes--you need to stay in line to receive a portion of them. So, no control of how big of the portion you want and you will not go for the seconds just to avoid the waiting in line.

1.- Liked to be very convenient for the Gran Fondo Bike Race 2.- Didn't like that I made and paid reservation through Expedia and I was charged by Embassy Suites as well. Both payments were took directly from my Wellsfargo Checking Account.

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback. We will relay this message to my management team so we can improve on our end. Furthermore, our property is valet only parking services but there are some alternative self-parking options you can take (not belonging to the hotel however). For future reference, there is metered street parking right behind the hotel off of G Street and Pacific Hwy and there is another metered parking lot that is parallel to the hotel off of Pacific Hwy and Harbor Drive.

Great location. Could walk to most attractions. Ride share was convenient if walking was too far. Staff was always helpful. Did not like the $25/day fee.

Only 1 staff member at check in counter. Otherwise hotel is nice and clean. Suite is spacious. Heater is a bit too loud when it turned on in the middle of the night. It woke me up. Complimentary cook to order breakfast is good though the orange juice was bit light. Walk few minutes to Seaport village and USS Midway.

Wonderful hotel close proximity to the waterfront. Breakfast was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Interior lobby/atrium was cool, kids loved the glass elevators. Suite had plenty of room for our family and a separate lounge area from the sleeping area, which is very nice.

Very pleased with our stay here. I like the option that we got to stay with three kids, not out of hotels gave us that option
