I was disappointed from the beginning. On my way to hotel, when I was trying to check in thru app, it gave me option to select room. I was not getting the room I thought I reserved based on the site descriptions. I thought I reserved a room with balcony over the pool but instead I got a balcony overlooking the back parking and homeless encampments. Front desk said they guarantee a room with balcony but no guarantee one overlooking the pool. I did not see that message anywhere nor images of any other balcony views. I paid extra for a balcony I not once had the desire to walk out too. Once we checked in to the room. Our room had a funky smell. Not a good one. We asked to be changed. They were booked for the night and offered to go spray the room. When I went back. It now smelled strong like mint. Which was better. Next morning when trying to get ready. I tried to use blow dryer and it was broken, they didn’t bring me another one but they are dirty nasty blow dryers. Full of lint in the back and did not even heat up. blowing warm air. There also was no seating area in the room. Every hotel I’ve stayed at, even with 2 queens. Always had a seating chair with little coffee table. This one only had a chair with desk.
There was really no place for luggage. We had everything on the floor.
Overall this hotel was excessively priced for the condition. I was never looking forward to go back to hotel to relax. Pool area very small with broken furniture.
