The internet didn’t work all 4 days/3 nights we were there. The first night, we couldn’t check in because theirs was down too. No biggie, we got keys and checked in the next day. Breakfast was decent and the cleaning lady was nice. Our keys didn’t work every night we came back to our room, so we always needed to get new keys. On the last night, we once again went to ask the night window for new keys. A night auditor walked up to the window and I told him “our keys haven’t worked every night we come back” and he took the keys and left to another room without a word. He came back to ask for my ID, which I didn’t have on me, so I gave him my name. He left and comes back with a new key and says “keep it away from metal, magnets..” and I told him we are aware and are really careful with them, but we are bummed they haven’t worked every night. He just repeated “well.. keep it away from metals.. magnets” without an ounce of customer service. At this point, I said “so, no ‘sorry for your inconvenience’” or ‘oh no, I’m sorry you had to walk here for a new key” or any sort of empathy? He just shrugged. Night staff literally doesn’t care.
