This is one of the worst hotels in the Motel 6 chain. They clean you room and refresh towels every three days. Working staff is nice and thoughtful so they can get you fresh towels.

The price was extremely affordable for a roof over your head. Ac worked great. Checking/checking out was great. Unfortunately there were roaches in the room, overwhelming smell of cigarette and marijuana (on the non-smoking floor), tons of noise (from upstairs/downstairs/outside/inside/lots of dogs/children). Lots of loitering. No housekeeping (had to find someone to ask for tp and towels, and still did not receive towels because they had not received their towel delivery). The location was great.

The room was clean, however it was very run down and the patch work on walls were very noticeable, I didn't feel really safe there with my two younger children, air conditioning was sooo loud and people were banging or something at 2am next door. I was not real thrilled to be at the property.

The only good thing about it is is located in a good place to get to everything at 11 o’clock at night. Someone knocked on the door saying their bag was in my room. I told him that was not within three minutes somebody’s that claimed to be the night shift Manager. Grabbed a card and tried to open my door to let these people in my room that I did not know I mentioned it to two of their front desk people I will never stay there again if I could put a zero from my review I would.

There was plenty of parking even tho motel was full. The parking area and the pool area were clean. The air conditioner worked ok. The fridge provided in the room was clean and worked well. The rooms apparently have not been renovated in some time, but the furnishings were comfortable.

The check in person was very nice & polite. The property is kept up. The bed was great, really comfortable. The room was clean other than the floor. I wore socks while in the room & they were really dirty on the bottom after I took them off so I had to throw them away. I swiped the floor with my finger thereafter & realized the floor was dirty. I was glad about their dog policy. It is a plus for us dog lovers who like to take our dog on trips. The area the motel is in was not bad but there were some shady people hanging around in the parking lot, especially later in the eve. I saw a crackhead talking to herself and homeless people hanging around in the parking lot so you just have to be careful.

Upon checking in, this property does not allow you to pick what floor you would like to be on...Not Cool! No Freedom! Pets with ticks are allowed to stay in all rooms. Also,Not cool. I would NOT recommended a stay here to my friends and family.

My girls really loved swimming at the pool. Every night we would swim. Warning be careful if have a little dog, some of the owner have a hard time controlling the bigger dogs. I had a German shepherd lunged at my dog when we were coming out of the elevator. But overall we had a great stay.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 San Diego and unfortunately had a number of concerns that made the stay less comfortable than expected. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, which made us avoid using the shower entirely because we didn’t want to activate it or breathe it in. The sink smelled strongly of eggs and was also clogged, which made using it unpleasant. Inside the room, the TV had a line across the top, suggesting it may be damaged, and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud, almost like a jet engine starting up. There were a few positives: the fridge was very cold, which we appreciated, and the front desk staff were genuinely kind, especially when helping us check in early. We also loved that the property is pet friendly, since I always travel with my emotional support dog. The location was convenient and close to food and shopping. However, the room setup wasn’t ideal. The desk area didn’t have a nearby outlet, so using a laptop required stretching a cord across the room. Parking was also difficult, it was crowded and felt unorganized. Assigning one spot per room or charging for additional vehicles might help prevent people from taking multiple spaces. The exterior and the room itself were average, not the worst we’ve stayed in, but definitely in need of some updates and maintenance. Overall, while the staff and pet friendly policy were great, the cleanliness issues and room conditions made this a two‑star stay for us.
