We LOVED our stay at Boardwalk Hotel. Chloe was very attentive to all our needs. Our room was clean & affordable for extended stay. LOVED having a kitchenette. Bidet was a bonus for us, after traveling to Japan earlier this year. Hotel is super close to beach, eateries & shopping. Highly recommend for ease & comfort.

Amazing property! The staff was incredible, the place was clean and you could tell everything was very well thought out. It's a very short walk to the beach, there's plenty of food, etc. We barely had to use the car. We have a baby and this was such a great property for the entire family!

We had a great stay at The Boardwalk and would definitely go back. The location is perfect, everything you need is within walking distance. If you have a car, parking could potentially be a little tricky which is par for the course for that area. I’d look into reserving a parking spot on the hotel website well in advance of your stay. There are other options not too far away but just bring your patience if you have to go that route. Again, we had a great stay and I am already looking at dates to go back.

Great stay! Mostly all done through text messages (no physical check in), but the staff we interacted with was very kind & helpful. Parking is free in a certain spot close by & paid parking is available first come first serve. Great location, they provided us a free gift card to a great, fun bar/grill place nearby and we rented out free bikes to ride around! Awesome time! I’ll stay again! Just make sure you rent your bike/kayaks etc. as soon as you check in (they close at 5pm)!

The deal they have with Cheap Rentals was excellent. The rooms were clean. We had no need to communicate with staff so no commentary there, but that’s a good sign. The water pressure was “okay”, but did offer areas to rinse off sand before entering your room. Also, what’s the deal with no fitted sheets?

Wonderful mission beach stay! The room had a great kitchenette and small dining table/chairs. Super close to the beach. We rented the free bicycles and rode up the coast which was super fun! Private hot tub was great to relax in at the end of the day.

Stayed one night at The BoardWalk Hotel in San Diego on 4/15 and had a great experience overall! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, plus tons of restaurants and bars nearby which made everything super convenient and fun. The room itself was well-equipped with great amenities like a full-size fridge, strong A/C, and really modern features in the bathroom. One of my favorite perks was having access to free beach rentals from the shop next door—that was such a nice bonus. The only downside I noticed was that the floors in the room didn’t seem very clean. After walking around barefoot for a short time, my feet got pretty dirty, so I’d suggest a more thorough mopping between guests. Aside from that, everything else felt very clean and well-maintained. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially for the location and overall value!
