"The accommodation is quite old already. Location is very convenient. Staff are nice. Service is good. We didnt encounter any problems. I think the place needs renovation already. "

"As soon as we arrived and so the room that they provided, which is not the room I booked, we immediately went out in search of a different place to stay. The room they provided is ok at the most but the facilities is so dirty inclusing the bathroom, and the building itslef seems rickety and falling apart. It is even more expensive than the better accommodations we found."

The owner met us at the property and explained the situation, what we needed to know about the facility, and that he would be working to make sure we were safe and had water. "This was the worst experience of my life! First off there was no address to this place on the site. The picture was the bedroom. After driving 7 hours we get there and could not find the place as there was no street name or unit number. We called the phone number twice and no one answered. Google maps car led us to another resort,not San Juan Apartments. A kind man at a Tourist information kiosk said that there were many San Juan Apartments in Urbiztondo and we needed a unit number and street...

"I honestly would not stay here again. I found it very difficult to get to and from the house and town. Taxis and jeepneys just wouldn't stop. The house and room were nice overall,fairly spacious and comfortable. There are so many dogs outside though, that like to bark very early in the morning. So it's hard to sleep in in the mornings. I would definitely pay more to stay closer to town and in a more quieter area of the mountainous city."

"Griffin Lodge is a SCAM!! We had a confirmed booking on this place for February 25-27, 2022, also paid online and that it is no refund for any cancellations or rebooking. When we arrived, the whole place was barricaded with bamboo fencing. There were bystanders outside dilly dallying which looks weird and told us that there is nobody inside and that the place has been non-operational for more than two years.
