We had a sweet, which was a very nice size. These are located on the second floor at approximately 6 AM. I could hear furniture moving to realize our room was directly above the breakfast room. Any chair being moved on the floor travelled like it was being dragged in the room next-door. Just a heads up if you’re booking a suite, also the elevator was out so there was only one elevator and they do not go to the parkade. So you have to carry your bags which hours were quite heavy from a long trip up flights of stairs to get to the lobby to take the one and only elevator, which may take several minutes to get. The breakfast was very good, and the staff are all very friendly

The parking situation was terrible. The elevator doesn’t go down to the lower level where you park your car. You have to walk two flights of steps with heavy luggage that’s ridiculous. Then I was given an extremely noisy room. My door was next to an ice machine and a coke vending machine which made terrible loud sounds all night and the reception gave me earplugs. That was their solution. They never cleaned my room told me that.they Short of staff, the mattresses were terrible. Nothing about this hotel was satisfactory.

Great walkable neighborhood- I recommend The Coffee Berry across the corner. Near bus stops for the muni, but walkable to Fisherman’s Warf as well.

Questo hotel si trova a poche centinaia di metri da Lombard street e circa un miglio al Pier 39. Hotel vecchiotto. I receptionist accolgono bene il cliente. La camera assegnata nella media, ma purtroppo per un soggiorno di 3 giorni non puliscono la camera che ha la moquette (per un soggetto allergico è un problema) e consegnano su richiesta in reception gli asciugamani puliti. Ci sono 2 ascensori: uno è rotto e per utilizzarlo ci vuole un po' di tempo. La colazione è nella media. Il parcheggio auto è comodo ad un prezzo buono, 30 dollari al giorno Per l'ubicazione è consigliabile per il resto no!!!

The staff was great! Location was perfect. The view from the room was beautiful. The breakfast was included..it was alright. They had a few different options. The seating was nice. You get to people watch out the window while you eat/have coffee chillin. The ONLY problem was the elevator..they have two but one is broken and the one left is sooo slow. When we were checking out with all our luggage it took 10 minutes to get to us. Lol. I think it's in the process of being fixed. We would stay here again for sure 😊

Loved the location and convenience of this hotel; and that they had a great breakfast daily with free coffee available thru day. I parked our car there for 2 days and left it there feeling it was safe and we walked everywhere or Uber/lifted to most places. I was so scared of driving the steep streets but this is relatively flat off Lombard street right before the inclines!! Staff was small but helpful and kind! Rooms are paper thin walls which was prob the most annoying part… my kids and I would be in bed by 10pm after a long day and we could here the family next to us like they were in our room. The hotel is old but was renovated and felt comfortable and safe… but most of the hotels in the area are old… so I would recommend this to any traveler looking to be in the area - so many great restaurants to walk to and beautiful residential properties!

Stay away! You can find better places to stay in San Francisco, especially for the price. When I arrived the first thing I noticed were stains on my sheets (see photo, looked like bubblegum and body fluids). I called the front desk and they said to come down and pick up sheets and make the bed myself. Wow. I paid for a room with a "City View," please see photo, haha. The hotel and rooms are dated, musty and overall worn out. See photo. One of the elevators is out of order so every time you need to use it can take up to 15 minutes because it is full and you wait for another, and another. I was on the 11th floor and took the stairs. I know this kind of thing happens, but it had been broken for over a week (see past reviews) and I saw no attempt to fix. Huge inconvenience and possibly safety issue (?). See photo and notice bags of trash that were constantly in the hallways. Hot water was gone in the mornings. TV didn't work, see photo. Parking in a crap lot is $30 a night. I met a woman with roaches in a cup heading to the front desk. The breakfast was bad. Scrambled eggs in pools of water. Muffins with blueberries hard as pebbles. Just horrible. The two women at the front desk were nice but overwhelmed. I felt bad for them. I asked to speak to the GM multiple times but he was not available (I think his name is David). I really wanted to like this place, it is near family and conveniently located in SF, but I'll never go back.

Friendly staff and decent place to stay for reasonable price. Parking garage is really tight for full sized vehicles. We rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I wouldn’t want to try to park anything bigger. Views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge were amazing however.

The doorway connecting stairs to lobby is permanently locked. Forcing guest to utilize one elevator. Two elevators in the lobby, however seemed only one was working created a bottleneck. Small breakfast area even though breakfast is free very crowded room was musky with a mildew smell and empty bottles left. Parking cost was reasonable compared to Seattle and staff was very helpful.

This place has an excellent location and a delicious breakfast to start the day. Gated underground parking is available for $30 a day. I will definitely return if I revisit SF.

No fridge, no running hot water. The whole time there was only cold water and staff acknowledged the issues, but did not provide any solutions. Overall, it was a bad experience and compared to other hotels in San Francisco, I expected better service and amenities.

Lage und Anbindung an öffentlichen Verkehr sehr gut. Zimmer ausreichend groß, Badezimmer sehr klein mit Mini-Waschbecken! Das Frühstück war sehr eingeschränkt mit keiner Abwechslung (Waffeln zum selbst machen, Kaffee, Tee, Säfte -wenn Maschine funktionierte-, Toasts, Muffins, ei mit Würstchen. Immerhin kein Plastikgeschirr! Es reicht, um morgens etwas im Bauch zu haben, für mehr aber nicht! Leider war auch der eine Fahrstuhl noch nicht repariert. Mit nur einem funktionierenden brauchte man viel Geduld.

Not the greatest hotel - location was great close to a lot of the attractions however the parking suck, even tho it’s underground, it’s so tight and no elevator access unless you take stairs. The elevators are VERY slow… it once took us 20 mins to go up and down. And front desk suggest to come down if we need anything instead of them coming to drop anything to you.

Hotel is older and dated but still very nice. We had a King room with the pullout and had a small view of the Golden Gate Bridge on the second floor. Lots of room for our family of 4. There was a great little eatery across the street called Chico’s Pizza. Great menu for American fare as well as some pasta and salad options. We ate there twice. Warm continental breaky in the morning was very satisfying with decent options. We were able to walk to pier 33 and 39, although it is fairly far, however was easy to get to and there are also public transport options very close.

Confort Inn by the Bay was great place to stay for my husband while l was having cancer sygery. The staff very helpful.

Sorry, some parts of the United States didn't have Wifi for a few days, but guests were able to get connected by using there own data, but it did come back on, sorry for the inconvenience.
