"Just arrived home from the most amazing trip away to Hotel Meandro. Everything from the arrival, to staff, the room and food was perfect and of course the wonderful view from the room and the Sky Terrace was breathtaking. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We arrived late in the evening after some delays and they made sure we had easy instructions for a self check in. Breakfast was a real highlight of the trip - lovely food and the most attentive and friendly staff who our baby looked forward to seeing every morning. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit nearby villages and there is a lovely little beach about 200m downhill which offers swimming, water sports and a couple of beach bars/restaurants. Hands down the best trip we have ever been on. Itā€™s worth booking a car parking space if you have hired a car as parking can be slightly tight around the hotel itself. Tignale is a lovely spot to visit with beautiful panoramic views over the lake and mountains and a handful of cute restaurants and ice cream parlours which are really reasonably priced. We were so grateful for the complimentary bottled water on arrival and departure as nipping to a shop with an 8 month old wasnā€™t always the easiest thing in the heat. The indoor swimming pool was such a great additional facility with a little garden by the side for lounging around. The only reason for the 4 stars on facilities was due to our aircon being a little ropey - it worked okay but think it was due a service."
