"This is a unique hotel. Think more like a rental cabin in a usa national park. This is not a cookie cutter us holiday inn room. These are little home built cabins in a gorgeous tropical orchid garden. The beds are clean and comfortable, the shower water is hot and the electric outlets work fine to charge your devices. Wireless is great. Tatiana greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of 3 rooms since it was important to us to have a private bathroom and privacy. We woke to the sounds of birds...

"Me encantó este hotel. La atención es excelente y el jardín es precioso. Pasé bastante tiempo cada día paseando por sus instalaciones, observando las aves y las plantas. Reservé dos noches inicialmente, pero decidí extender mi estancia una noche más porque me gustó mucho. El hotel está a solo 5-10 minutos caminando del centro, rodeado de naturaleza, lo que hace que la distancia valga totalmente la pena. El desayuno incluido es delicioso y variado. "We stayed at Mckays Quinta for only one night, as our flight from Miami was arriving late and we did not want to pay twice the cost in Quito. The attendants at Mckays are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. There are many activities on site - pool, games, etc. We highly recommend Mckays Quinta."

"This is a very lovely ecuadorian style hotel, with very friendly staff. It has marvelous decorations all over, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot. It does not have elevators, but the staff happily carried our bags to the third floor, where our room overlooked a plaza. The breakfast was made to order with a marvelous bowl of fresh fruit. It is right in the heart of the old city and was quite safe to walk at night. It was so nice to stay in a hotel that was different from the cookie...
