"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"Some photos show a remodeled room… ours was not. Not the bathroom anyway Also patio did not have screen door. Housekeeping kept the room clean but little inconsistent with what they would replace. Amenities included the infinity pool and hot tub. There’s access to breakfast and drinks in a full menu. Breakfast is not included but available. there is soap and shampoo, pool towels you can check out. For the most part, everybody was friendly, some more helpful than others. We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted.
