"I booked a stay at the Garden Street Inn last week, and it was such a lovely experience. I took the Amtrak in and arrived a couple of hours before check-in, but they kindly allowed me to check in early, which was incredibly convenient. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I stayed in the “Ah Louis” room, which was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and featured a large bathtub, which was a great bonus. I've never been to San Luis Obispo...

"Location was perfect. Parking a little tight. Room was clean. Bed was a little soft for my liking and the shower was clean but low on water pressure. TV remote needed new batteries too. Appreciated the easy check in after hours and the open key app."

"Second time here. On first visit a car was broken into right out front. This time we stayed in room 323 and the AC made a clicking sound all night and hardly got any sleep. The breakfast eggs are gross and the breakfast is very simple. The pool was also being repaired. Just too many things to make me want to come back again. The property is otherwise clean and staff are friendly. In a nice area."
