"Staff was very friendly and helpful. We went without power for one night due to storms but that was not the hotels fault. There also was a ton of ants and spiders in the bathroom but as it is basically outside that came expected. If you are staying in the dome, be prepared to hear everything that is going on outside till at least 10 at night"

"The hotel is an older property, but it is very well maintained. The design layout is well done and the landscaping looks great. The view of the lake and the volcanoes was spectacular. The hotel also was centrally located to the very small town of Panajachel. Our tour guide met us in front of the hotel and it was a very short walk to the boats for a tour of some of the towns on the lake. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again. "

"The staff who greeted us at check in was rude, but most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and included. Coffee was amazing. I drank it without creamer and enjoyed it. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, and the water was hot. However, the water flow is very slow and will take a while to rinse shampoo/conditioner out of long hair. To note—some of the employees don’t speak Spanish well, only their dialect. "Check in policy is unclear. The cash policy is listed in FAQ but not noted in the auto message after booking or clearly displayed. It is also misleading when you’re required to leave a credit card for booking. Upon arrival I was told I had to make multiple transactions and my credit card company flagged it as fraud.
