"The light that there was security monitoring the parking lot. It felt safe. There staff were nice and explained everything the place felt a little outdated, but the beds were comfortable also liked the room with the snack machines"
"There are definitely some positives. The location is great, the rooms were very clean, and the pillows were surprisingly comfortable. The pool area was also well stocked with towels, which was a nice touch. However, the experience took a serious turn on our first night. Around 10 PM, the fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated. Shortly after, multiple police cars arrived and a helicopter was circling overhead. It quickly became clear this was not a simple fire alarm situation but something much more serious. I was outside on the sidewalk with my three children. One of whom didn’t even have time to put on pants.Terrified and confused is an understatement. We stood outside for quite a while with zero communication from hotel staff. No instructions, no reassurance, nothing. I had to repeatedly call the front desk myself just to get any information. When I finally got through, I was told we could return inside “at our own risk.” At that point, we had heard there was an armed robbery and suspects hadn’t been caught via the helicopter message. As a parent, that’s unacceptable. We had no idea if we were safe in the hotel or not, and staff made no effort to clarify or support guests during what was clearly a frightening situation.
The next day, staff completely downplayed the incident, claiming it was just a fight between two women in the lobby—which frankly did not match what everyone witnessed the night before. That lack of honesty and transparency made the situation even worse"
"I love the old style hotels. This was exactly what I hoped for with lots to do and great food on site. Nobu Staff could have been friendlier. But I would comeback here for sure. "
"Immaculate, fantastic service. Paul is big nice and Clien and there are really accommodate extra likes in a little longer, or using amenities while you’re airplane or something leaves "
