"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was great that there’s laundry facility and an elevator.
Great location very close to town very very quiet. We were fortunate enough to see the moon cast the light over the water.
Cannot say enough about this place"
"Colonial Gables was so great! We were in town for a birthday and waking up to the sound and smell of the ocean was the perfect way to start the day. The staff was friendly and efficient. The cabin was spotless with thoughtful towel designs. The kitchenette had everything you needed for a lite meal. I would recommend this place to everyone. I’m looking forward to a return trip!"
"This was one of the best stays and experiences we’ve had. The property was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience felt welcoming and peaceful. The staff was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay.
The only feedback I have is about the café. The coffee and food quality could be improved. We preferred exploring nearby local coffee shops and cafés instead."
"Good things — The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower area were clean, and the view outside the tent was beautiful. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly.
Bad things — The tent itself was not as clean as expected, with many bugs on the ceiling and walls. The floor was also not properly cleaned. The fireplace was ineffective and created more problems than comfort. Smoke repeatedly triggered the fire alarm and woke us up in the middle of the night. Since it was around 40°F outside, we ended up sleeping in the cold. At one point, the tent became filled with smoke. We were advised to open the curtains to let the smoke out, but that made the tent unbearably cold. This was the biggest downside of the stay.
I would not recommend staying here during colder weather conditions.Considering the experience, it was not worth what we paid."
"I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable!
The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing."
