"I absolutely loved my stay at Old Taos Guesthouse. It's a charming, historic property with beautiful, serene grounds. It has so much Taos character and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Though it's very close to town, it's tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area. The homemade breakfast every morning was delicious and such a lovely personal touch. Special thanks to Ngoc for always being so helpful and hospitable. The nourishing and tasty homemade breakfasts fueled us every morning for the bounty of activities within an easy walk (historic sites, art museums, and plenty of libations). The host has amassed her own wonderful collection of stories, things, and recommendations which made this a great home base for our excursions to Chaco Canyon (3.75 hrs) and Ojo Caliente mineral springs (1 hr). "If you are new to Santa Fe, you definitely need to use Maps, Waze or another GPS to get there. The property is a couple blocks off the main road and one block in, it is a quiet area. We had a large room with king bed plus a sitting area, small fridge and control of a/c. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Nice continental breakfast with vegetarian and meat quiches. Very enjoyable stay."
