"Great place and so close to the sand dunes! I will def be back here! The rooms have little sitting areas outside which I loved ! There’s hummingbird feeders and little hummingbirds flying all around! We got there later after the restaurant nearby had closed, but the hotel has frozen pizza you can buy and cook there so we did that! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly and when she heard we were leaving super early she gave us some things for breakfast, I wanted to give them a 5. But...

"For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to stay at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas (NM)..! :) The city is one of our favorite destinations in the state, and we love taking the scenic route (Hwy. 104) from Tucumcari to get there! :) It was our first time to stay at the Plaza. "The room is basically an apartment. It's on a brook and you can hear it from the second floor. Homemade breakfast. 6 different kinds of fresh fruit. Omelet and bacon with jam and English muffin.
Mike the host is owner operator and a fantastic guy!!
Huge sunken family room... dining room for breakfast. Coffee. Full kitchen in room. View is outstanding. Wildlife is abundant!!"

"My room was a good size and had all of the amenities I needed (refrigerator and microwave). However, there were a few areas that reflected a need for updating. Overall, I thought the room was a good deal for the price and it was located near supermarkets and the plaza. I look forward to returning to the TVL in the not-too-distant future. "
